Celebrating the Stories That Unite Us Through Iconic Collectibles, Artifacts, and Elegant Everyday Items That Reflect America’s History, Hope, Vision, and Achievement

Your Sole Source for Authentic White House Gifts and Collectibles for Over 75 Years

The White House Gift Shop, Est. 1946, stands as a hallmark of American history and tradition. Established by a permanent memorandum from President Harry S. Truman in collaboration with the U.S. Secret Service, this storied institution has served every presidential administration since its inception. As the only federally recognized and U.S. Patent and Trademark Office-protected White House Gift Shop®, our mission is to provide gifts and collectibles that honor the legacy of the presidency, the Executive Office, and the values that define America.

From its origins as the White House Flower Fund, evolving into the White House Security Fund, and eventually becoming the White House Gift Shop, this institution has been shaped by history. After the tragic assassination attempt on President Truman in 1950, during which Officer Leslie W. Coffelt made the ultimate sacrifice, the shop’s mission expanded to include honoring law enforcement, the military, and their families. Today, we continue to fulfill that purpose with steadfast dedication.

A Legacy of Service and Impact

For nearly 70 years, the White House Gift Shop operated within the White House itself, overseen by members of the Secret Service Uniformed Division. In 1998, we launched our online store to provide public access to these unique and meaningful artifacts of American history. Our very first public offering—commemorative pens commissioned by President Truman—set the tone for a legacy of quality and significance.

As we celebrate our history, we are equally committed to our future. Under the leadership of Anthony F. Giannini, the White House Gift Shop has expanded its impact with initiatives that support law enforcement, veterans, educators, and community organizations. Anthony Giannini, a distinguished historian, cognitive psychologist, and Quantum-AI scientist, has shaped the gift shop into a global symbol of service, philanthropy, and innovation. His contributions have included groundbreaking programs in advanced law enforcement training, direct community support for homeless families, abused children, victims of human trafficking, and collaborations with cutting-edge medical research centers for all forms of cancers.
